This Children’s Privacy Policy explains how Tumbling Lab, operated by Diego Frez De Castilla, handles information about children and minors.

1. Overview

Tumbling Lab is a sports training platform for coaches, parents/legal guardians, and athletes. Tumbling Lab is not primarily directed to children under 13. However, the platform may be used by minor athletes with appropriate parent/legal guardian involvement.

2. Age Rules

• Users under 13 may not complete self-service registration.
• Users under 13 may access Tumbling Lab only when a parent/legal guardian creates or grants access and provides consent.
• Athletes ages 13–17 may self-register only with parent/legal guardian authorization.
• Parent accounts must be created by users who are at least 18 years old.

3. Information Collected About Minor Athletes

Depending on the features used, Tumbling Lab may collect:

• athlete name and nickname;
• date of birth, if provided;
• parent/guardian relationship information;
• coach relationship information;
• training assignments and logs;
• session notes and homework;
• skill evaluations and scores;
• mental toughness or performance-related test results;
• photos/images/videos used in evaluations;
• appointment information;
• push/email notification records;
• legal acceptance and parental consent records;
• deletion/anonymization records.

4. Parental Consent

Parent/legal guardian consent is required when a parent creates or manages a child athlete account or grants access to a child athlete.

Consent may cover:

• creation of a child login;
• parent-managed athlete accounts;
• training data processing;
• coach access;
• appointment scheduling;
• training recommendations;
• athletic risk acknowledgment;
• photo/video evaluation consent;
• notifications;
• Google Calendar-related appointment processing.

5. Parent-Created Child Accounts

A parent/legal guardian may create or grant a login for a child athlete. In that case, the parent/legal guardian accepts applicable legal documents on behalf of the child and confirms legal authority to manage the child athlete’s information.

6. Parent-Managed Athlete Accounts

A parent/legal guardian may create an athlete profile without a separate athlete login. The parent/legal guardian manages the athlete account and may log training activity where permitted.

7. Photos and Videos of Minors

Tumbling Lab may allow photos, images, or videos to be uploaded for athlete evaluations. Parent/legal guardian consent is required for minor athlete evaluation media.

If a child athlete account or athlete profile is deleted/anonymized, Tumbling Lab is designed to delete linked evaluation photos/videos from the skill-visual-reports storage area and retain only non-identifying KPI data where appropriate.

8. Training Recommendations for Minors

Tumbling Lab may provide drills, assignments, progressions, or evaluation-based recommendations. These are for general training support only. Minors should train under the supervision of a qualified coach or responsible adult. Tumbling Lab does not provide medical advice and does not guarantee safety, injury prevention, or results.

9. Who Can Access Minor Data

Minor athlete data may be accessible to:

• the athlete, where the athlete has an account;
• linked parents/legal guardians;
• assigned coaches;
• platform administrators when needed for support, safety, security, or operations;
• service providers that help operate Tumbling Lab.

Access is limited by role-based permissions and server-side authorization where implemented.

10. Parent Rights

Parents/legal guardians may contact us to:

• review information associated with their child;
• correct inaccurate information;
• request deletion or anonymization of child athlete data;
• revoke consent where applicable;
• ask questions about data collection and use.

11. Data Deletion and Anonymization

Parents/legal guardians may request deletion/anonymization of linked or managed child athlete data. Tumbling Lab is designed to:

• delete or anonymize direct identifiers;
• delete linked evaluation photos/videos;
• preserve non-identifying KPIs;
• preserve legal, consent, deletion, anonymization, and audit records as needed.

12. If a Child Registers Without Consent

If we learn that a child under 13 created an account without parent/legal guardian consent, we may restrict, delete, anonymize, or require parental confirmation for that account.
