Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tumbling Lab, operated by Diego Frez De Castilla ("Tumbling Lab," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using Tumbling Lab, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Overview

Tumbling Lab is a free sports training platform for coaches, athletes, and parents/legal guardians. It helps users manage training assignments, athlete progress, evaluations, scheduling, communication, photos/videos used in evaluations, and related workflows.

Tumbling Lab may change over time. Features may be added, modified, limited, or removed.

2. Eligibility

Self-service signup is available only for users who are 13 years of age or older.

Users under 13 may access Tumbling Lab only when a parent/legal guardian creates or grants access and provides required consent.

Athletes ages 13–17 may use Tumbling Lab only with parent/legal guardian authorization.

Parent accounts must be created by users who are at least 18 years old.

By using Tumbling Lab, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Accounts and Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• keeping your login credentials secure;
• providing accurate account information;
• using Tumbling Lab only for lawful and appropriate purposes;
• ensuring you have authority to submit athlete, parent, coach, or minor information;
• notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not share login credentials with unauthorized users.

4. Roles

Tumbling Lab may support different account roles, including athlete, parent, coach, and platform administrator.

Athletes

Athletes may view assignments, log progress, view evaluations, participate in scheduling, and use training tools.

Parents/Legal Guardians

Parents/legal guardians may manage linked or parent-managed athlete accounts, provide consent, log certain athlete activity when permitted, view athlete-related data, and request deletion/anonymization of child athlete data.

Coaches

Coaches may create training content, assignments, evaluations, schedules, and notes. Coaches are responsible for the accuracy, suitability, safety, and appropriateness of the content they provide.

Platform Administrators

Platform administrators may perform high-level operational and support actions, including account management, role support, relationship management, security review, and deletion/anonymization support.

5. Parent-Created and Parent-Managed Athlete Accounts

If you create or manage an athlete account on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are the parent/legal guardian or have legal authority to do so.

By creating or managing a child athlete account, you consent to Tumbling Lab processing the child athlete’s information as described in the Privacy Policy, Children’s Privacy Policy, and Parent Consent Policy.

6. Training Recommendations and Athletic Risk

Tumbling Lab may provide training suggestions, drills, assignments, or evaluation-based recommendations. These materials are for general athletic training support only and do not replace in-person coaching, professional supervision, medical advice, or individualized safety assessment.

The safest way to train is under the supervision of a qualified coach. Perform any exercise, drill, or skill progression at your own risk. Make sure you understand the technique, have appropriate space, equipment, spotting, and supervision, and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, unsafe conditions, or uncertainty. If you are not sure how to perform an exercise safely, seek help from a qualified coach or medical professional before continuing.

7. No Medical Advice

Tumbling Lab is not a medical provider. Tumbling Lab does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, injury prevention guarantees, rehabilitation plans, or emergency services.

Do not use Tumbling Lab as a substitute for professional medical advice. If you have pain, injury, illness, dizziness, unsafe symptoms, or medical concerns, stop training and consult a qualified medical professional.

8. No Guarantee of Results

Tumbling Lab does not guarantee athletic progress, skill acquisition, competition results, injury prevention, safety outcomes, or training success. Athletic improvement depends on many factors outside Tumbling Lab’s control.

9. Photos, Videos, and Evaluation Content

Tumbling Lab may allow photos, images, or videos to be uploaded or captured for athlete evaluations. You must have the legal right and necessary consent to upload or provide any media.

For minors, parent/legal guardian consent is required before evaluation media is uploaded or used.

When an account or athlete is deleted/anonymized, Tumbling Lab is designed to delete linked evaluation photos/videos from the skill-visual-reports storage area and preserve only non-identifying KPI data where appropriate.

Exercise Library media is intended to be generic instructional content. Do not upload videos/photos of minors or identifiable athletes to Exercise Library unless proper consent and authorization have been obtained.

10. User Content and Coach Content

You may submit training notes, logs, comments, evaluation responses, appointment notes, media, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant Tumbling Lab a limited license to host, process, display, transmit, store, analyze, anonymize, delete, or otherwise use that content as needed to provide and improve the service, enforce these Terms, comply with law, and protect safety and security.

Coaches are responsible for the content, notes, assignments, and recommendations they create or provide through Tumbling Lab.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use Tumbling Lab for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive purposes;
• upload content that violates another person’s rights;
• submit content involving minors without proper authority;
• upload private or sensitive information about others without permission;
• attempt to access data you are not authorized to access;
• interfere with platform security or operation;
• reverse engineer or misuse the service;
• use Tumbling Lab to harass, exploit, or endanger any person;
• upload malicious code or harmful files.

12. Communications

Tumbling Lab may send transactional emails and push notifications related to account activity, training assignments, appointments, evaluations, security, deletion/anonymization, and other service-related matters.

Transactional emails may come from noreply@mail.coachfrez.com or another Tumbling Lab email sender.

13. Third-Party Services

Tumbling Lab uses third-party service providers such as Supabase, Resend, Google Calendar/Google OAuth, browser push services, and Hostinger as the hosting/infrastructure provider.

If a coach connects Google Calendar, appointment data may be sent to Google Calendar. Tumbling Lab does not control third-party services after data is sent to them.

14. Account Deletion and Anonymization

Users may start account deletion/anonymization from Settings. Parents/legal guardians may request deletion/anonymization of linked or managed child athlete data.

Deletion/anonymization may include:

• deletion or anonymization of personal identifiers;
• deletion of linked evaluation photos/videos;
• preservation of non-identifying KPIs;
• preservation of legal, security, and audit records;
• deletion of the Supabase Auth account after anonymization succeeds.

Coach and platform administrator deletion may require manual review.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe a user has violated these Terms, created safety risk, submitted unauthorized minor data, misused the platform, or created legal/security concerns.

16. Service Availability

Tumbling Lab may be unavailable due to maintenance, outages, third-party service issues, security events, development changes, or other reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

17. Free Service and Future Changes

Tumbling Lab is currently free. We may introduce paid plans, subscriptions, premium features, or other pricing in the future. If we do, additional terms may apply.

18. Intellectual Property

Tumbling Lab, including its software, design, workflows, branding, and platform materials, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Tumbling Lab except as permitted by these Terms.

19. Disclaimers

Tumbling Lab is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, safety, and results.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tumbling Lab and Diego Frez De Castilla will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages, including injury, lost data, lost profits, loss of opportunity, or business interruption.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Tumbling Lab will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to use Tumbling Lab in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply.

21. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tumbling Lab and Diego Frez De Castilla from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of Tumbling Lab, your User Content, your coaching or training decisions, your violation of these Terms, or your unauthorized submission of another person’s information.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the app, email, or other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
